Trofholz Technologies, Inc. is searching for a Project Manager who is a positive and team-oriented professional with a desire to develop and increase their capabilities within the security industry. The Project Manager collaborates directly with Senior Executives and Business Development to grow the company portfolio by contributing to pre-bid site walks, the Basis of Estimates (BOE), and RFP/RFQ creation. Manage projects in accordance with Delivery & Close-Out Processes    Expertise will include project management skills, budgeting, contract and vendor management, resource management, and various security systems such as Access Control Systems (ACS), Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), and Intrusion Detection.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Primary stakeholder for total project responsibility and execution 
  • Perform site visits, pre-bids, and or site surveys, providing detailed information to assist the engineering department  
  • Review quotes and pricing with engineering to support CM Goals  
  • Management and engineering of client designs in proposals 
  • Identify New Opportunities/Complete Paperwork for Change Orders & Mods participate in proposal activities such as the Basis of Estimates (BOE), and RFP/RFQ creation 
  • Continuously build /strengthen relationships and trust with clients communicating with them regularly  
  • Be prepared and attend assigned handoff meetings with engineering 
  • Finalize Project Budget & Plan with engineering 
  • Lead project kick-off meetings to ensure a thorough understanding and review of the contract, project requirements, specifications, scope of work, and schedule; have a complete understanding of the contract and SOW  
  • Review Drawings w/Client at Kick-Off & Coordinate All Updates 
  • Manage Deliverables to ensure all are completed on-time and on-budget meeting all contract requirements 
  • Create, Own and Continuously Update Project Schedule to include - Milestones/Critical Path/Timeframes/Resource Requests/Deliverables 
  • Write Project Reports as required 
  • Create, Own and Update Budget - All Costs & Billings per Established SOV; Own Overall Financial Management of Project Profitability 
  • Initiate timely invoicing with Finance Department  
  • Predict & Manage Monthly/Weekly Manpower Requirements and maintain continuous communications with site leads and field technicians 
  • Write Clear Subcontractor SOWs & Ensure Subs Adhere to SOW 
  • Prepare test and commissioning plans; coordinate appropriate end-user training plan & materials 
  • Notify and Complete Warranty Closeout Forms with project coordinator 
  • Identify New Follow-on Opportunities as the project closes 
  • Willing to travel & work flexible shifts as needed 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the primary responsibilities and or equivalent work experience 
  • Industry certifications (OSHA 30, Software house, Lenel) 
  •  Project Management experience managing complex projects across all phases of the project life cycle with 4+ years managing project financials ranging from 1 million to 2 million a year aggregate
  • 4+ years completing security site assessments and creating conceptual enterprise security designs, Intrusion Detection, Access Control, placement of CCTV, etc. 
  • Proficient use of MS Project, MS Word, and MS Excel 
  • Exceptional organizational and project documentation skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities 
  • Ability to work and think independently with minimal supervision 
  • A valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance are necessary  
  • Ability to obtain a government security clearance  
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Must have a clean driving record, pass a background check, and have dependable transportation 
 Preferred:
  • Previous experience working with federal government agencies
  • Industry certifications (OSHA 30, Software house, Lenel) 
Pay: 70k-110k annually (pending experience)
