Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, installation, and configuration of Software House access control systems, ensuring precision and reliability in every deployment.
  • Execute system upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting to maintain peak performance and security standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and customers to deliver tailored, dependable access control solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to guide efficient installations and repairs.
  • Set up and configure CCure 9000 components — including inputs, outputs, doors, schedules, and events — aligned with specific customer requirements.
  • Analyze and diagnose system malfunctions, providing expert-level hardware and software troubleshooting to resolve issues promptly.
  • Mentor and train junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous growth and technical excellence.
  • Conduct on-site inspections of subcontractor work to verify compliance with codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Document activities and findings with detailed field visit reports, promoting transparency and accountability.
  • Lead diagnostic evaluations and implement corrective actions to ensure robust, resilient system performance.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to drive seamless project execution, innovation, and continuous service improvement.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, General Engineering Systems — or equivalent technical experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in deploying and supporting complex security systems in a technical, customer-facing field service role.
  • 2+ years of programming experience specifically with C•CURE 9000.
  • Multiple Software House certifications (including C•CURE 9000, Advanced Programming, and more).
  • Strong grasp of Division 28 & 08 specifications and best practices.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Software House C•CURE systems, including access control, video management, and situational awareness platforms.
  • Expert understanding of Software House hardware and software architecture.
Technical Expertise:
    • Advanced proficiency with Windows operating systems, and Microsoft SQL Server (installation, configuration, and administration).
    • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP configuration, VLANs, firewalls, and secure remote access.
    • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
    • Ability to independently manage complex technical projects from design through commissioning with minimal supervision.
    • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and optimize physical security systems in fast-paced, customer-driven environments.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Proven ability to mentor junior technicians, support collaborative problem-solving, and contribute to team success.
  • Must be in or willing to relocate to the Sacramento, CA area.
  • Must have a clean driving record and be willing to travel to job sites in-state and out-of-state as needed.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.  US citizenship is required for clearance.

Salary: 100k – 115k
