In this role, you will support the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of integrated electronic security systems, including Access Control, Video Surveillance (CCTV), Intrusion Detection, structured cabling, and supporting network infrastructure.

What You Will Do
 
  • Install low-voltage cabling for Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, and intercom systems
  • Assist with installation and termination of copper and fiber-optic cabling infrastructure
  • Install electronic security equipment, control panels, devices, and supporting hardware
  • Assist with installation of servers, NVRs, DVRs, Ethernet switches, and related network equipment
  • Properly mount cameras, enclosures, power supplies, displays, and associated equipment according to manufacturer specifications
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and corrective actions under the guidance of senior technicians
  • Follow project drawings, specifications, and installation standards
  • Complete assigned tasks safely, efficiently, and with a high level of quality
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate daily project progress
  • Safeguard company tools, equipment, and materials
  • Participate in safety meetings and comply with all company safety requirements
  • Support project teams as needed and travel to project sites when required
 
What You Bring

Required:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent technical training
  • 0–2 years of experience in electronic security systems, low-voltage systems, construction, telecommunications, or related technical fields
  • Willingness to learn and apply new skills under the direction of senior personnel
  • Basic understanding of low-voltage systems, construction practices, or technical installations
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide and safely use basic hand tools
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as project requirements dictate
  • Ability to obtain a federal government security clearance
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Must pass background screening requirements

Preferred:
  • Experience supporting federal government projects or agencies
  • Military technical experience or honorable military service
  • OSHA certification
  • Experience with Lenel, Avigilon, Software House, Milestone, or similar security platforms
  • Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting experience
  • Previous experience with low-voltage cabling, construction, telecommunications, or security systems

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience
